Position Summary
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Neurology in Ahoskie, NC are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide neurological care in an outpatient setting.
Successful candidates will conduct general neurology patient assessments and management, reporting to a neurologist via telemedicine. Neurology experience is preferred, and a neurology orientation with the established neuroscience team in Greenville, NC is required before independent practice in Ahoskie.
Orientation & TrainingProviders will participate in a structured four‑month training program, receiving hands‑on training with a team of neurologists based in Greenville. Post‑training, ongoing clinical support and weekly tele‑neuro consults will continue.
Schedule & SupervisionMonday‑Friday outpatient schedule. No on‑call duties. Supervision provided by a neurologist through telemedicine.
