Adjunct Fire & Rescue Instructor - WDCE Wilkes

The Adjunct Instructor Candidate will be responsible for proper instruction of the material to be presented, monitoring classrooms and offsite didactic delivery sites, ensuring proper student behavior and an adequate learning environment, and instructing in a safe manner without unnecessary dangerous or unsafe activity.

Part Time

Required Qualifications:

• Current CPR certification through American Heart.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Qualified Instructor by NC Office of the State Fire Marshal (NC OSFM) for non‑certification classes.
• NC OSFM certification for all qualification classes.
• NCOEMS instructor, American Heart Instructor, or working towards obtaining instructor certification from one of the above agencies.

Must be able to stand for extended periods, sit, stand, walk, climb, and lift related supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds.
