Bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), Applied Linguistics with a TESL emphasis, English with a TESL certificate or a closely related field and one year’s experience teaching English as a Second Language in a university setting. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in TESL, Applied Linguistics or a closely related field. - FTE

Provide ESL instruction to foreign language students enrolled in the English Language Institute.
The English Language Institute provides English language training for students who wish to study at U.S. colleges and universities. Part-time ESL Instructor will teach skill-based ESL classes between 10 and up to 20 hours per week. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to curriculum development, record keeping, text selection, test administration, participation in orientations and end-of-term ceremonies. ESL Instructor position is contingent on student enrollments in the English Language Institute.
