GENERAL FUNCTION:

THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION:
Under the general supervision of the Director of the Company's Apprenticeship Program, the applicant must demonstrate mastery of current technical application skills as an experienced Electrician.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Instruction:
Delivering both theoretical and practical training in electrical principles, ensuring alignment with NCCER standards.

* Curriculum Development:
Creating and updating course materials to reflect current industry practices and compliance requirements.

* Assessment:
Evaluating student progress through assignments, practical tests, and hands-on demonstrations.

* Compliance:
Ensuring all training activities adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

* Student Support:
Providing mentorship and guidance to students pursuing careers in the electrical field.

* Performs other job-related duties as assigned

* Confidentiality is extremely imperative.

Must be able to teach:

* NCCER - Core, Electrical Levels 1 - 4

* Electrical Safety and the National Electrical Code

* Electrical Residential, Commercial, Light industrial, and/or industrial

* PLC and Energy management systems a plus

* Inventory management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* Experience:

A minimum of five years in the electrical trade, with hands-on experience in various electrical systems.

* Certification:
Active NCCER certification as an instructor, or the willingness to obtain it upon hiring.

* Education:

Relevant technical certifications or a degree in electrical technology is preferred.

* Skills:

Strong communication and organizational abilities, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

* Bilingual English Spanish a plus but not required
