Salary: $120.00 per day. Permanent position.

An ESS permanent instructional aide/bus driver assists the classroom teacher by providing extra support to students with special needs, promoting maximum academic and personal growth. The aide’s responsibilities include supplementing regular classroom curriculum and helping individual students. These positions also require driving the bus for the students.

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups
• Assist the teacher with classroom management and general supervision
• Help with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials
• Supervise students in cafeteria, schoolyard, specials, hallways, on field trips, and/or during before and after school programs
• Attend to students’ physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration
• Drive bus for students

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
