Overview
This posting is a recruitment pool for potential tutors in the Learning Commons on the Person County (Roxboro, NC) and/or Caswell County (Yanceyville, NC) Campuses of Piedmont Community College. Hiring for this position is contingent upon PCC student needs, funding, and scheduling throughout the year. The hourly rate for this part‑time role is dependent upon qualifications.
Responsibilities- Tutor/facilitate students in the subject area and document the sessions for reporting.
- Facilitate face‑to‑face synchronous class meetings and provide support for distance learning students.
- Associate degree or higher or current college student with 3.0 GPA or higher in the subject area.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
