As a College and Career Coordinator, you will be in charge of driving the strategic work that prepares all CSUSA students for post‑secondary success.
You will also implement, coordinate, and manage all functions of the College and Career readiness programs and perform other related duties.
- Evaluate data and strategies for CSUSA students with post‑secondary success.
- Collaborate with partner schools/agencies to promote transition initiatives.
- Coordinate tracking and follow‑up of transition students.
- Collaborate with Principal and Education team to determine instructor training needs.
- Assess educational software programs for quality.
- Assist with the coordination of staff development and instructor training.
- Attend local college meetings and seminars.
- Develops and conducts in‑service training for teachers regarding the program, instructional strategies, and best practices.
- Performs classroom visitations, assists teachers in the improvement of instructional performance, and monitors improvement.
- Coordinates schedules with existing instructional programs.
- Coordinates community and parent involvement in through partnerships, events, after‑school clubs, etc.
- Leads and coordinates extracurricular programming -- tutoring and enrichment.
- Monitors the progress of students.
- Serves as a resource to school administrators and content area teachers in identifying needs, adapting instructional techniques, and implementing programs.
- Collects and reports student data.
- Initiates and maintains effective liaisons with district and professional associations to maintain a current knowledge of instructional best practices.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment toward the job and the mission of the company; supports the company's values in the strategic areas of academic excellence, operational performance, superior culture, and financial health and growth, as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Works and interacts with staff and relates to individuals at all levels of the organization. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image.
- Strong time management & organizational skills and the ability to prioritize wisely.
- Ability to guide and train teachers in effective instructional techniques and strategies.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, students, parents, the community, and administrative staff.
- Establishes excellent interpersonal skills between all constituents: being courteous, professional, and helpful;
