Job Description

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Art Education and three years of successful art teaching experience in K‑12 schools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both in oral and written communication.
  • Awareness and comprehension of current teaching strategies.
  • Ph.D., Ed.D., or doctoral candidate in Art Education or terminal degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous college teaching experience (including teaching assistantships) preferred.
  • Teaching experience in the area of K‑12 art.
  • Ability to work with the public in a pleasant, cooperative, collaborative manner.
  • Lic or certification required by statute or regulation (if applicable).
