  Instruction of Chemistry

• Teach entry‑level Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory courses in a face‑to‑face instructional format during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters, as enrollment needs dictate.
• Prepare lesson plans, deliver instruction, and assess student work in accordance with department standards and university policies.
• Engage in course preparation and maintenance activities, including development of course materials, laboratory procedures, and assessment tools.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and other duties as assigned by the department chair.

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Prior experience teaching in a college or university environment.
• Strong communication and instructional skills suitable for a diverse student body.
• Availability to commit to a flexible schedule and a 4‑month instructional period each year.
• Successful completion of a background check, including criminal, employment, and reference verification.
