Cummings Aerospace Engineering Teacher

Providing teaching lessons for the Cummings Aerospace Engineering Camp from June 15 – 26, 2026. This part‑time temporary position requires camp work with middle and high school students.

• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all campers.
• Supervise campers during activities and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other camp staff to ensure smooth program execution.
• Plan and deliver engaging, hands‑on lessons in aerospace concepts such as engineering, 3D printing, rocketry, coding, robotics.
• Use educational technology and simulations (e.g., TinkerCAD, Flash print, Open Rocket, Python, Code.org, Visual Studio Code, MIT App Inventor, Mbot software).
• Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Implement classroom management and lesson plans for middle and high school students.

• Bachelor’s degree plus teaching certification for middle or high school.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace concepts.
• Experience with camp or classroom teaching and working with middle/high school students.
• Proficiency in technology tools listed above or willingness to learn.
• Experience in camp teaching preferred.
