Supervises: May coordinate and direct the activities of teacher assistants

Job Description

Purpose: To plan, instruct, and organize instructional environments to help students learn subject matter and skills that contribute to their educational and social development.

Nature of Work: The teacher is required to follow all Board policies and procedures, comply with supervisor directives, and meet the following standards and elements.

Teachers know the content they teach

Education and Experience
  • Must hold or qualify to hold a NC Educator's License
  • NC Educator License in Exceptional Children

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board and local policy on evaluation of personnel.
