Position Title
Lecturer/Athletic Trainer – 861
Primary PurposeTeach undergraduate courses assigned by the Department of Kinesiology Chair and provide medical care for assigned athletic teams within the Department of Athletics.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses as assigned.
- Provide daily medical care for assigned teams, including all activities, associated travel, nights and weekends.
- Maintain appropriate electronic medical records.
- Supervise graduate assistant athletic trainers.
- Carry out administrative and other duties as assigned by the Dept. Chair or the Senior Associate Athletics Director.
- Master’s Degree in an appropriate discipline area.
- Prior experience teaching in a higher education setting preferred.
- BOC Certification and AED/CPR Certification.
- Licensed or eligible for athletic training licensure in North Carolina by August 2026.
Full‑time (1.0 FTE), 9 months per year. Exempt under FLSA. Recruitment and hiring ranges commensurate with education and experience.
