Youth Pastor
Temple City Church - Selma, North Carolina

Temple City Church is seeking a passionate, relational, and visionary Youth Pastor to lead the next generation of students into authentic relationships with Jesus Christ.

This is an opportunity for a leader who loves students, believes discipleship changes lives, and is excited to build a ministry that reaches the lost, equips believers, and develops young leaders for the Kingdom.

We’re looking for someone who isn’t simply interested in planning events or preaching messages; we’re looking for a pastor who desires to know students by name, invest in families, develop volunteers, and create a culture where every student feels seen, heard, loved, and challenged to follow Jesus.

About Temple City YTH

Temple City YTH is a vibrant, growing student ministry serving middle and high school students every week.

More than just creating exciting services, our heart is to build a ministry where students experience genuine community, grow in biblical truth, discover their identity in Christ, and become disciple-makers themselves.

We believe the local church should partner closely with parents to help students develop a faith that lasts long after graduation.

The Youth Pastor will inherit a ministry with strong momentum, a big group of committed volunteers, healthy systems, a youth assistant, and significant opportunity for continued growth and innovation.

About the Role

The Youth Pastor will provide spiritual, pastoral, and organizational leadership for all aspects of the student ministry.

This includes developing volunteers, preaching and teaching, discipling students, partnering with parents, planning events, partnering with First Priority of America to reach students in our school systems, overseeing and executing our annual summer camp called Revivefest, building leadership pipelines, and helping students discover and live out their God-given purpose.

This leader will report directly to the Executive Director and serve alongside a healthy, collaborative pastoral staff.
