Part Time Before​/After School Site Coordinator - Youngsville Academy

The Head Coach serves as the leader of an after-school program site, creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children. This hands‑on leadership role combines youth development, staff supervision, program operations, and relationship building with families and school partners.

Program Leadership

• Lead daily program operations and ensure a positive experience for students.
• Facilitate engaging enrichment, academic support, recreation, and character‑building activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment.
• Manage student attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures.

Team Development

• Supervise and support site staff.
• Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to team members.
• Lead staff meetings and promote a positive team culture.

Family & School Partnerships

• Build strong relationships with students, families, and school personnel.
• Communicate program updates, successes, and student needs.
• Represent the organization professionally within the school community.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate program records and documentation.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and behavioral concerns.

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lead staff while actively engaging with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field preferred.

• Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Location: On‑Site at School‑Based Program - Youngsville Academy

Reports To: Area Director

Schedule: Part‑Time (Before & After School, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)

25 hours per week, including required hours of Monday‑Friday: 6:15AM‑7:30AM and 3PM‑6PM

Pay: $19–24/hour, based on experience and education

NOTE:

This is a year‑round school that has unpaid breaks scheduled throughout the year. There may be opportunities for hours during breaks at a neighboring Innovation Learning program. We are looking for a candidate who is available to start as soon as possible.
