Job Description
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, develop students' awareness and understanding of the career opportunities and education requirements in computer science occupations.
Instructs and conducts classes, including Computer Science, Adobe Visual, and Adobe Digital.
Provides services to assist students in achieving a better understanding of specific subject material and in improving academic capabilities in designated areas. Collaborates with the school principal and staff members to assess students' needs and how best to address them. Course offerings include Culinary Arts I and II.
Minimum Training and ExperienceRequired to hold state certification.
Performance ResponsibilitiesPhysical Requirements
:
Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including computers, copiers, calculators, etc.; operate a motor vehicle; lift, carry, push, pull light objects up to 10 pounds; and walk or stand to a significant degree.

Ability to compare and judge sets of data, people, or things.

:
Ability to speak and signal to convey or exchange information, including instructions and directions.
Language Ability
:
Ability to read correspondence, reports, forms, and prepare them using prescribed formats and correct grammar, punctuation, and style; ability to speak before groups with poise and confidence.

:
Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Verbal Aptitude
:
Ability to record and deliver information, explain procedures, and follow oral and written instructions.
Numerical Aptitude
:
Ability to use mathematical formulas, perform basic operations, utilize decimals and percentages, and apply principles of algebra and statistics.
Form/Spatial Aptitude
:
Ability to inspect items for proper dimensions.
Motor Coordination
:
Ability to coordinate hands and eyes rapidly and accurately using office equipment.
Manual Dexterity
:
Ability to handle office equipment and hand tools with adequate eye/hand coordination.
Color Discrimination
:
Not required.
Interpersonal Temperament
:
Ability to deal with people beyond instruction, adapt under stress, and handle emergencies.
Physical Communication
:
Ability to talk and hear, including telephone communication.
Full time for ten (10) months. Salary based on state and local salary schedules.
The term of this position is from the actual start date through the conclusion of the school year.
