- Primary Purpose of Position: Coordinate and oversee clinical placement processes across all programs, ensuring equitable timely placement, manage contracts, support accreditation, and represent the School in clinical partnership meetings.
- Coordinate and oversee clinical placement processes across all programs.
- Ensure equitable, appropriate, and timely placement of students in clinical settings aligned with course and program learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with course coordinators, program directors, and external partners to evaluate site appropriateness based on student level, course objectives, and regulatory standards.
- Act as the central liaison for clinical contracts and MOUs, ensuring all agreements are executed, reviewed by legal counsel, and compliant with institutional and accreditation standards.
- Maintain the systematic management of agreements within a shared repository to improve operational efficiency and support accreditation documentation.
- Represent the School in clinical partnership meetings, fostering sustainable relationships with healthcare agencies and community stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline area and prior teaching experience in a higher education setting.
- Unencumbered North Carolina RN licensure or RN licensure in a compact state.
- Experience in nursing education or academic health programs.
- Familiarity with accreditation standards (CCNE, SACSCOC).
- Experience with contract management and compliance processes.
- Established relationships with healthcare agencies (regional preference).
