Associate Pastor – Students Laurel Hill Baptist Church

Laurel Hill Baptist Church is seeking a biblically qualified Associate Pastor – Students to lead LHBC’s ministry focus to students from kindergarten through college age, with a special focus on our Middle and High School students.

As a fellow Elder/Pastor of LHBC, the Associate Pastor – Students will support the ministry of LHBC by working alongside the Senior Pastor to minister to the broader church family.

• Equip and lead volunteer teams for children and youth ministries.
• Partner with and resource parents in the discipleship of their children.
• Develop and implement a plan to raise up disciples in the next generation in our church and community.
• Serve as an example to the believers in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.

• Meet the character and leadership qualifications for pastors/elders described in Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9; 1 Peter 5:1–4).
• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a life marked by spiritual maturity, integrity, and humility.
• Wholehearted alignment with The Baptist Faith and Message 2000, The Danvers Statement, and The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy.
• Undergraduate degree. Preferably with some theological training.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relational skills.
• Preferably some church staff experience.
