Location: Lake Lure

The Program Lead works with the Camp Director and to plan and deliver all programmatic elements, events, and activities. Must be at least two full years out of high school.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Emcee all camp-wide meetings, events, and games
  • Direct the morning and evening skits
  • Deliver fun programs to campers
  • Ensure that camp staff and campers know and follow safety and educational procedures during camp programs
  • Work with the program team to develop and implement all facets of camp program activities
  • Develop and implement schedules for all areas of camp programs
Qualifications
  • Professing Christian that commits to follow the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
  • Ability to lead staff in weekly meetings
  • Ability to lead campers in chapel each morning and evening
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, email experience required
  • Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
  • Respond with grace in high-stress situations
  • Willing to teach and invest in campers
Requirements
  • At least two full years out of high school with relevant experience
  • Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
  • Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
  • Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training

Program staff will operate under the camp guidelines for safety. By living, eating, and serving on-site, staff will model the values of CLM, as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job.
