The College of Business commonly, but not always, has the need for part‑time instructors. We invite applications to be submitted for these potential openings. Applications are continually invited for part‑time instructors in the College of Business. If your academic area of interest/expertise meets the programmatic needs of WCU at any time, you will be contacted to discuss proposed teaching opportunities. These needs change from semester to semester.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with a concentration in the discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in teaching discipline). All degrees must be from an accredited institution. A terminal degree is preferred. Significant business experience may substitute for academic credentials in some cases.

Preferred Qualifications

Terminal degree with eighteen hours in field of specialization. Industry experience or academic experience is also a plus.
