Position Overview
Western Carolina University seeks qualified part‑time (adjunct) faculty to enhance its academic programs. Appointments are course‑by‑course, salary is commensurate with education, experience and discipline, and postings are continuous to build a qualified pool of candidates. Minimum Qualifications• Doctor’s or master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
Preferred: A terminal degree.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role involves teaching courses on a course‑by‑course basis in the candidate’s discipline.
