- Plan course instruction according to the approved syllabus
- Hold classes as scheduled and complete all class‑related activities in a timely manner
- Maintain effective and timely communication with students and faculty
- Adhere to university policies and procedures
- Applicants who seek to teach in the MSW Program must hold a Ph.D. in Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Applicants who seek to teach practice courses must have at least two years of post‑MSW professional social work experience.
- Applicants who seek to teach online classes must have online teaching experience or be willing to complete online teaching training conducted by the university.
- Candidates with a closely related master’s or doctoral degree (e.g., counselling, mental health, family and marriage therapy, creative art therapy, substance abuse, psychology, psychiatry) and substantial professional practice experience may be considered for elective and special topic courses.
