Position Overview

Highest Praise Church is seeking a passionate, Spirit-filled leader who is called to disciple the next generation while helping lead the creative communication of our church.

This is more than a Youth Pastor position.

We are looking for someone who loves students enough to know their names, invest in their families, raise young leaders, and create an environment where teenagers encounter Jesus and grow into lifelong disciples.

At the same time, this leader will need common knowledge involving Media, helping communicate the visually with excellence through live production, video, photography, social media, and creativity..

This position reports directly to the Student Director & Senior Pastor.

Primary Responsibilities

Pastor students in grades 9–12
Teach Biblical truth with passion and clarity
Build meaningful relationships with students and parents
Lead students toward salvation, discipleship, and Spirit-filled living
Pray consistently for students and families
Develop future student leaders
Raise and mentor adult volunteers
Hold a strong standard of spiritual and physical growth

Youth Ministry Leadership Lead every aspect of the youth ministry including:

Wednesday Night Youth Services
Monthly events
Small groups and discipleship opportunities
Student leadership development
Camps, conferences, retreats, and mission opportunities
Follow-up with guests and absent students
Parent communication
Annual ministry planning
Budget oversight
Volunteer scheduling

Media / Creative Oversee teams and able to learn or have common knowledge of:

Cameras
Live Streaming
Audio/Visual Coordination
IMAG
Photography
Video Production
Graphic Design (Canvas / Photoshop)
Social Media
Online Church
Using AI

Responsibilities include:

Recruiting and training volunteers
Scheduling media teams
Maintaining equipment
Producing high-quality church media
Working with pastoral staff on sermon series, events, and church communication
Ensuring excellence across every service

Qualifications We're looking for someone who demonstrates:

A clear call to Youth Ministry
A growing relationship with Jesus Christ
A Spirit-filled lifestyle
Strong Biblical knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Leadership and organizational ability
Ability to recruit and develop volunteers
Healthy family relationships
A passion for reaching and leading students

Bible College or ministry training is preferred but not required. Character, calling, and proven leadership matter most.
