Two dedicated Exceptional Childrens (EC) Teachers are needed: one specializing in self-contained settings and one for resource classrooms. • Current licensure or certification as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility in North Carolina)
• Previous experience serving students with diverse exceptionalities, either in self-contained or resource settings
• Strong familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to tailor instruction to individual education plans and learning styles
• Organization and documentation proficiency, ensuring compliance with educational regulations

• Provide specialized instruction to students, modifying curriculum as needed per IEPs
• Implement behavior management strategies and intervention plans in classroom settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers to optimize student learning and inclusion
• Track and report progress on educational and behavioral goals
