Care-O-World Early Learning Centers is looking for a motivated, people-centered leader to step into the Assistant Center Director role at our Ayden location. This position is perfect for someone ready to grow their leadership skills while making a real impact on staff, families, and children every single day.

This is more than a support role—it’s a hands-on leadership opportunity where you’ll help guide daily operations, support classroom success, and partner closely with the Center Director to keep the center running smoothly and joyfully.

Our Ayden center is strong and growing, with a solid leadership foundation and a collaborative team culture. As Assistant Director, you’ll be a key part of that momentum—supporting staff, stepping in where needed, and helping ensure our classrooms are safe, engaging, and aligned with Care-O-World standards.

You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll have direct mentorship from the Center Director, ongoing support from our leadership team, and real opportunities to grow into higher leadership roles.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• NC Early Childhood Administration Credential (or willingness to work toward it)
• At least 2 years of experience in a licensed child care setting
• Working knowledge of NC licensing, health & safety, and classroom support
• A leadership style that is supportive, consistent, and encouraging
