Teaching core and specialty courses in Professional School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Responsibilities- Teach and develop core and specialty courses for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Design and deliver instruction using distance‑education and blended learning formats.
- Supervise practicum and internship field placement courses (when required).
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of current counseling practice and higher‑education pedagogy.
- Engage with students, faculty, and university stakeholders to meet program objectives.
- Ph.D. in Counselor Education or a related field with a clear counselor professional identity; CACREP‑accredited degree strongly preferred.
- For candidates with a master’s degree: relevant counseling experience, supervisory experience, and education in counseling supervision; considered for practicum and internship courses.
- Valid licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor or Licensed School Counselor (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to structure and deliver distance‑ and hybrid‑learning courses.
- Prior teaching experience in higher‑education settings.
