• North Carolina Teacher Licensure
• Master’s Degree in Education-related field preferred
• Special Endorsement in Computer Education preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience as a classroom teacher

• Planning and Facilitating Teaching and Learning
  • Collaborates with teachers and other instructional staff to develop curriculum materials and specific lesson plans that integrate technology
  • Models the integration of technology in all curriculum areas and facilitates school participation in technology programs and activities
  • Conducts professional development in areas of technology integration, the North Digital Learning Competencies
  • Provides coaching and coaching supports to faculty on the implementation of best pedagogical strategies (ex. blended, individualized, differentiated, personalized learning environments)
  • Collaborates with the school media specialists to provide leadership in the school’s use of instructional technology resources to enhance learning
  • Follows a plan for professional development and actively seeks out opportunities to grow professionally
• Planning and Facilitating Information Access and Delivery
  • Implements best practices related to technology use in the school program based on research, pilot programs, and state/national standards
  • Works with the principal and school leadership team to provide access to technology resources and services of the technology facilitator at point of need
  • Works with teachers and technology staff in the selection of resources that are compatible with the school technology infrastructure and aligns with curriculum goals
  • Adheres to and communicates copyright as well as other laws and guidelines pertaining to the distribution and ethical use of all resources
  • Ensures the applications used within the school have privacy policies that protect the users of the application
  • Models, builds awareness, and trains faculty, staff and students on copyright, ethical use of digital resources, and digital citizenship
• Planning and Facilitating Program Administration
  • Prepares and submits accurate reports as required
  • Carries out non‑instructional duties that includes:
    • Management of technology inventory
    • Chromebook and ipad deployment, repair, warranty management, and collection
    • Triage building‑level technology needs to elevate to IT Department
    • Collaborates with district leaders, principals, teachers, media and technology staff, and students to evaluate and select resources addressing curricular needs and learning goals

Full‑Time

• At least 5 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Master degree preferred.
