The position may be hired at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Agent level if the selected candidate meets the required qualifications.

Hoke County is located in the south-central part of the state, bordering the South Carolina line. This region of the state is known as the Sandhills, characterized by deep sandy soils and variable topography. The individual in the position will provide leadership for the total 4-H youth program and will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating programs for youth ages 5-19, program staff and volunteers.

The successful candidate will manage and grow the 4-H Youth Development program through clubs, after school programs, school enrichment programs, "summer fun" day camps and traditional 4-H camps. Seek out sponsor ships, grants, and other funding sources to support activities and programs. Ensure the 4-H program is accessible to youth across the county.
