Community Enrichment Facilitator
The Community Enrichment Facilitator develops, coordinates, and promotes educational and enrichment programs that respond to community interests and support lifelong learning. The position oversees classes, workshops, Ed2
Go courses, summer camps, instructors, and community partnerships while ensuring effective program operations and outreach.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Develop and coordinate community enrichment classes, workshops, and special interest programs that appeal to a wide range of audiences.
- Coordinate and manage Ed2
Go courses offered through Pearson, including scheduling, enrollment support, and program oversight. - Plan, organize, implement, and oversee summer camps and enrichment activities for school-aged students, including program development, scheduling, registration, and day-to-day operations.
- Recruit and support adjunct instructors, assisting with course development, scheduling, and required college paperwork.
- Build relationships within the community organizations, businesses, and other partners to expand enrichment opportunities.
- Promote classes and programs through community outreach and engagement efforts.
- Establish goals and objectives that align with the college's mission, strategic plan, and commitment to lifelong learning.
- Maintain accurate program records and assist with reporting requirements as needed.
- Participate on college committees and contribute to campus initiatives and special projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate degree, bachelor's degree preferred. Experience developing community enrichment courses preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, instructors, students, and the public. Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
PHYSICIAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in indoor conditions and regularly works near video display. The noise level in the work environment in usually moderate. Evening and weekend hours may be required.
