Residential Septic Inspection Technician
We are seeking a Residential Septic Inspection Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting inspections of residential septic systems and possess knowledge of environmental regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct residential septic inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and sample analysis
- Identify and report any issues or violations to management
- Interact with customers regarding their service request
- Assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions
- Operate and maintain equipment used in inspections and sample collection
- Keep truck/van clean and organized
Working Conditions:
Work is performed primarily outdoors and includes challenging terrain, inclement weather, confined spaces, and high-traffic areas. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $21.00- $23.00 hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in conducting inspections of septic systems
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to operate valves, manholes and perform other strenuous physical work to perform inspections
- Valid driver's license
