One of the largest engineered bar mills in North America is currently seeking a Plant Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities- Mechanical engineering of various plant projects including design, purchase and installation of equipment.
- Manage plant systems including compressed air, boiler system, fire protection, water systems, water treatment chemicals, sewer, natural gas and oxygen.
- Support mechanical maintenance of overhead cranes and mobile equipment.
- BSME or BSMET (2 to 5 years’ experience).
- Equipment procurement, installation and start up experience.
- Supervision experience and the ability to work well with others.
- Previous water treatment experience.
- Experience in implementing predictive/preventative maintenance practices: vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, etc.
