Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Automation Controls Superintendent to join their team. As a Automation Controls Superintendent, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the production and automation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:

$110,000 - $125,000

Responsibilities
  • Integrate new automation technologies into current production line capabilities to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Review technical specifications and schematics for new equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, NEC, and OSHA requirements.
  • Add automation and robotic functionalities to existing production equipment to optimize operations.
  • Perform system evaluations, electrical design, and automation system programming support across plant manufacturing processes.
  • Lead troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automation and robotic equipment to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in an industrial environment with a focus on automation controls.
  • Proficiency with PLC systems, ladder logic, and experience with Allen‑Bradley controls preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform root‑cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
