Overview
- The ideal candidate will bring engineering and design, product development, and B2B product commercializing within industrial market segments.
- You will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for increasing product sales, creating engineered solutions, and expanding market share.
- As part of our leadership, your role will focus on guiding the entire product lifecycle—from market research and competitive analysis to product launch and post-market support.
- You will help create differentiated products that meet customer needs and open new market opportunities.
- Drive prototype, test-site, and production planning processes for multifunctional teams.
- Evaluate competitors and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and supplier partnership opportunities.
- Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies, including technical requirements, product positioning, margin targets, and revenue projections.
- Create market‑centric product strategy scenarios, including business case and ROI analysis.
- Lead all product lifecycle processes, including market research, design, testing, and launch.
- Translate strategies into detailed requirements for engineering and supply chain teams.
- Coordinate resources, partners, suppliers, machine builders, and system integrators.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, marketing, and sales to ensure success.
- Develop and maintain product management timelines across departments.
- Enhance product quality and assembly schedules for rapid delivery to customers.
- Optimize supply chain management with Global component suppliers and OEMs.
- Employ lean manufacturing principles to streamline development and production.
- Partner with marketing and sales to develop strategies to increase sales.
- Assist with product positioning and messaging tailored to market segments.
- Collect customer data to support social proof and marketing campaigns.
- Support sales team from pre‑sales to product rollouts, to ongoing market penetration.
- Drive continuous product innovation and find new product market opportunities.
- Proven experience in machining, automation, or robotic sectors.
- Successful track record overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
- Strong leadership in managing cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Skilled in CAD design software, prototyping, and testing procedures.
- Passion for innovation, problem‑solving, and robotic automation machining.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; materials science, or related fields.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing product development.
- Prior success as a product manager.
- Experience with precision machining and material removal production.
- Knowledge of component manufacturing, product assembly, and international sourcing and vendor relationships.
