Throughout the 12-week program, you will collaborate with some of the best in the industry, receive on-the-job training, participating in professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and other networking and social events!

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

As a Test Engineer intern working in the copper and powered fiber systems division, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of new copper and powered fiber power delivery and communication platforms as part of the Broadband Building and Campus division. You will work closely with teams that develop passive and active communication devices. This role will be based in Claremont, NC.

You Will Make an Impact By

* Assisting with testing and test protocol development

* Developing training guides and supporting documentation for existing products

* Contributing to discussions that help steer the direction of product development

Required Qualifications for Consideration

* Actively pursuing a bachelor's (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics from an accredited university

* Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0

* There are times when machines perform faster than people. Some proficiency in LabVIEW or MATLAB would be helpful so that quick data collection programs can be developed.

* Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
