Job Title:
New Product Introduction Engineer
The Manufacturing / NPI Engineer will collaborate with design, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless and successful product introductions. This role is pivotal in developing, validating, and implementing manufacturing processes, tooling, test fixtures, and production documentation.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and test fixtures.
- Manage suppliers and contract manufacturers to enhance custom components and build processes.
- Support production line setup and ramp-up, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Participate in design‑for‑manufacturability reviews and conduct risk analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high efficiency and quality.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers in high‑mix, low‑mid volume environments.
- Strong understanding of NPI processes and manufacturing engineering principles.
- Expertise in BOM management and product documentation.
- Proficiency in CAD (Solid Works, Creo) and PLM tools (Agile, Windchill).
- Strong DFM/DFA with the ability to lead cross‑functional design reviews.
- Experience with root‑cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and FMEA.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication and collaboration skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, NPI, or process development.
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
- Experience launching hardware in regulated industries such as medical, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP platforms like SAP and Oracle.
- Exposure to statistical analysis tools such as Minitab and JMP.

Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $71000.00 - $118000.00/yr. Innovative thinking. Proactive and organized. Project Management skills.
