Advanced Mechanical Engineer – McLeansville, NC

We are seeking an Advanced Mechanical Engineer for a long-term contract position in McLeansville, NC. The role requires US citizenship and residency, W2 hourly contract only, no 1099, no third parties, no C2C. Must qualify for a Secret Clearance. Pay ranges from $55 to $67.85 per hour.

As a Mechanical Engineer for Geo Logics you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for thermal and structural analysis of complex components used in undersea hardware. Collaboration with design engineering and manufacturing.

• Strong background in structural and thermal analysis.
• Experience with ANSYS and MATLAB required.
• Proficiency with CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, plus technical, government and industry standards.
• Creative, collaborative thinker capable of leading complex projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write technical papers and proposals.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
