Operations Manager
MRTT Program Planner
The MRTT Program Planner is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and control of the MRTT project at a high level, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Responsibilities of the Position- Develop and maintain detailed program plans for the A330-MRTT aircraft conversions, including milestones and dependencies.
- Create and update these plans in corporate tools (UP & SAP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain, etc.) to gather planning information and ensure alignment of plans.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the program schedule and budget. Maintain the risk management system for each program.
- Monitor program progress against the established plan and report deviations from the baseline.
- Prepare status reports, presentations, and other related documentation for program planning.
- Manage changes to the program scope, ensuring they are evaluated and incorporated appropriately into the plan.
- Utilize planning tools and project management software to optimize planning processes.
- Participate in program review and management meetings, representing the FAL in planning program meetings.
- Participate in and lead improvement projects within the TAOTI industrial function (currently an important project related to product data management is being carried out. A significant part of the initial responsibilities will be linked to the planning and implementation of this project).
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Organization, or related fields.
- Experience in planning and managing complex programs, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Proficiency in project planning software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Planisware).
- Familiarity with data management and visualization tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Qlik sense).
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence and its application to data management.
- Knowledge of data governance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced level of Spanish and English (spoken and written).
