Job Title: Senior Civil Structural Engineer
Salary: $150,000/Yearly
Locations: Baltimore, MD | Baton Rouge, LA | Charlotte, NC | Katy, TX | Raleigh, NC | Summerville, SC (Candidate may work from any one of these locations)
Prioritized Must Have Skills- Active Civil or Structural Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Transmission and substation structural experience, including transmission pole foundations, substation structures, bus-work, and steel frameworks
- Foundation design expertise using direct embedment, drilled pier, and vibratory foundations
- Strong geotechnical and structural calculation experience
- Background in the electric utility, transmission & distribution, or substation industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)
- Experience preparing engineering calculations, reports, and construction documents
- 5 to 10 years of civil/structural engineering experience
- Licensure – Professional Engineer (PE) License, active Civil or Structural PE required
- Experience – 5 to 10 years, transmission & substation structural experience, electric utility / power industry background
- Technical Skills – foundation design expertise, direct embedment, drilled pier, vibratory foundations, geotechnical + structural calculations
- Software & Tools – AutoCAD required, Civil 3D preferred, documentation & engineering deliverables experience preparing design calculations, reports, and construction documents
