Job Description
Hengstler Dynapar, a Ralliant company and part of Specialty Product Technologies (SPT), is seeking a motivated Engineering Cooperative Education (Co-Op) Student to join our team for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for current students to gain hands-on engineering and business experience while actively contributing to projects that directly support the success of our business. As a Co-op student, you will be treated as an engineer, working alongside experienced professionals to solve real-world challenges while continuing your academic studies.
Key Responsibilities Depending on business needs and your area of study, you may:
- Support Manufacturing Engineering initiatives focused on process optimization and operational excellence.
- Assist with new product development, product design, testing, and validation activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement and product sustainment projects.
- Analyze manufacturing, operational, and engineering data to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial functions.
- Contribute to projects that improve product quality, customer satisfaction, productivity, and efficiency.
- Present project findings and recommendations to engineering and business leaders
Education & Experience
Junior or Senior standing, currently enrolled and on track to graduate in 2027 or later with a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Pursuing a degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Robotics
- Supply Chain Management Or a related technical discipline
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
