Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Snow Hill, NC (Onsite)

We're seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join a growing manufacturing team in Snow Hill, NC
. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys taking products from concept through production while collaborating closely with manufacturing and quality teams.

• Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical products using Solid Works
  .
• Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production release.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, tooling, and engineering teams to optimize product designs.
• Resolve design and production issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure designs meet quality, manufacturability, and customer requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of product design and manufacturing experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Solid Works
  .
• Experience with GD&T, engineering drawings, BOMs, and product release.
• Experience supporting products in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  .
• Experience with electromechanical products, switches, connectors, sensors, automotive components, or similar products is highly preferred.
