A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Manufacturing Production Process Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and daily engineering support to the repair shop floor, ensuring controlled, repeatable repair processes and high‑quality outcomes. Your day includes owning repair documentation, resolving process issues, supporting quality notifications, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to strengthen safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance!

- Own and maintain repair process documentation, including plans, routings, and work instructions.
- Review incoming orders to confirm repair capability and ensure required authorizations for non‑qualified processes.
- Troubleshoot shop‑floor issues, lead QN activities, and serve as NCR disposition authority within delegation.
- Develop and improve repair processes, workflows, tooling, and equipment layouts in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalization efforts using data, standard work, and statistical tools.
- Provide engineering input for customer technical reports and support CAPEX and qualification activities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, mechanical, or materials engineering is preferred;
In lieu of a degree, candidates with a High School Diploma/GED, 4+ years of relevant experience AND are currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field will be considered. - Experience in gas turbine repair or aerospace manufacturing and knowledge of controlled processes and standards preferred.
- Strong shop‑floor support skills, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across Production, Quality, and Engineering with clear technical communication.
- Proficiency with MS Office is required and familiarity with ERP/QMS systems such as SAP, is preferred.
- Safety‑first mindset, strong prioritization skills, and flexibility to support business needs, including occasional travel.
