Please Read Before Applying Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a similar technical field 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Battery cell experience: winding, cell assembly, and electrolyte fill on automotive cells (2+ years; 5+ preferred) Manufacturing production preparation and schedule/deliverable management Onsite in Liberty, NC; must able to work weekends/shutdowns and travel up to 15% (incl.
international) About the Role A leading automotive EV battery manufacturer’s Battery Manufacturing Engineering (Battery Cell) department is seeking a passionate, highly motivated Engineer to join its process/product-quality advancement and problem-solving group. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role leads planning and problem-solving in pre-production trial activity — issue identification, root cause analysis, resolution, recurrence prevention / continuous improvement (kaizen), and trial project management — to deliver rapid competitiveness improvements.
