Engineering & Quality Analyst / Technical Specialist

Sirius Staffing is seeking Entry Level Engineers in Whitsett, NC.

Position Overview

We are seeking technically skilled, analytical, and hands-on candidates to support a fast-paced computer hardware and electronics manufacturing environment. Opportunities are available across Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Hardware Repair/Debug. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in engineering, electronics, computer hardware, manufacturing, quality, testing, troubleshooting, process improvement, or technical support. Recent engineering/technology graduates and experienced technicians are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will be considered for the position that best aligns with their education, technical skills, and experience.

What You May Be Doing

Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, or validate computer hardware, electronic assemblies, components, or production systems. Identify hardware, process, manufacturing, or quality issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Support manufacturing processes, production efficiency, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze test results, defects, failures, production data, or process metrics. Perform inspections and verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Support new product introductions (NPI), engineering builds, product validation, and manufacturing readiness. Troubleshoot hardware failures and perform component replacement, repair, rework, or post-repair validation when applicable. Develop, update, or follow SOPs, work instructions, test procedures, and technical documentation. Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Production, Operations, and other technical teams. Support Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, yield improvement, defect reduction, and other continuous improvement activities.

  • Computer hardware testing or troubleshooting
  • PC/server repair, builds, upgrades, or component replacement
  • Electronics, PCB, circuit, or electrical troubleshooting
  • Test equipment, multimeters, diagnostic tools, or automated testing
  • Manufacturing or industrial engineering
  • Production/process improvement
  • Root cause analysis and failure analysis
  • Quality inspection, auditing, or quality assurance
  • CMM, calipers, micrometers, or other measurement equipment
  • Blueprint, schematic, or engineering drawing interpretation
  • NPI, product launches, engineering builds, or product validation
  • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / 5S
  • Data analysis and process metrics
  • Firmware, BIOS, operating systems, or system configuration
  • SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation
Education & Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required for technician-level opportunities. Associate or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical discipline is preferred for analyst/engineering opportunities. Equivalent hands-on technical or manufacturing experience will also be considered.

Candidates may come from computer repair, IT hardware support, electronics, automotive technology, aerospace, semiconductor, medical device, telecommunications, manufacturing, quality control, engineering internships, engineering technology programs, or hands-on technical military experience. Current engineering/technology students and recent graduates with strong hands-on project, lab, internship, or technician experience are encouraged to apply.
