We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes supporting prototype, low-volume, and medium-volume production. This role focuses on improving efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing performance while supporting new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who is passionate about continuous improvement and thrives in a cross-functional environment spanning Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production
What You Will DoProcess Development & Optimization- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies
- Improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and eliminate bottlenecks using Lean manufacturing principles
- Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing workflows
- Design production workstations, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment
- Support AOI, conformal coating, and other automated manufacturing processes
- Perform Gage R&R, process capability studies, root cause analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to support new product introductions and ongoing manufacturing improvements
- Support capital equipment projects while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Support AOI, conformal coating, and other automated manufacturing processes
- Perform Gage R&R, process capability studies, root cause analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to support new product introductions and ongoing manufacturing improvements
- Support capital equipment projects while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of CAD, manufacturing tooling, automation, and production processes
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Manufacturing engineering experience in electronics, aerospace, or defense manufacturing
- Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC standards, or electronics manufacturing
- A hands-on engineer who enjoys working on the production floor, not just at a desk
- Passionate about continuous improvement and eliminating inefficiency
- Analytical and data-driven when solving process and quality problems
- A clear communicator who collaborates well across engineering, quality, and production teams
- Organized and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
