Salary Range: $40- $45 an hour on W2/C2C

Job title:
Controls System Engineer. Must have technical/functional skills Rockwell Automation Control Logix system design experience, including motion, ladder logic, and safety programming experience. Siemens Step 7 or other PLC version experience is desired. Function block and structured text programming is desired but not required. Must be proficient in Rockwell Software PLC Programming, Studio 5000. Must be proficient in Rockwell Software HMI Programming, Factory Talk View Studio.
Must understand PLC Hardware and Communication Protocols. Machine Safety Systems Knowledge of following would be preferred:
Robotic Systems:
Fanuc and Nachi Vision Systems:
Cognex, Keyence and Coherix Fanuc PMC ladder in CNC equipment
Roles & Responsibilities Develops and designs control systems; develops and implements bench tests; alters software and equipment to ensure that sensors and actuators are functioning according to specifications; supports and debugs complex problems and change requests. Responsible for the installation and technical support of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based hardware and software. Coaches and mentors are less experienced Controls Engineers Support Control activities for RMEP, CEP and CMEP Plant transformation in the Assembly, and or Machining areas as needed.
This will include:
Collaborating with other engineering disciplines in the plant to develop and improve processes and equipment in the plant. Work with equipment suppliers and drive programming, network, architecture, hardware and documentation standards for new equipment. PLC, HMI and MES Programming Changes Production support as needed.
