Who We’re Looking ForToyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Cost Management, Financial Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the forecasting, financial analysis and cost functions for Battery Manufacturing before and after construction, which includes Hybrid Electric and Battery Electric Modules. The person in this role will provide accurate and timely financial information to support management’s decision making as well as be a key resource to support production shops. Flexibility and creativity will be a key expectation as our business is preparing for electrification.
Many challenges may require the team member to draw upon their experiences to solve problems in a systematic and analytical way. This position will receive general direction from management; however, this individual will be required to work through various assignments independently.
Reporting to the Accounting and Finance Manager, the person in this role will support the Manufacturing Shop Departments and other sections in A&F, as well as with Production Control, Indirect Procurement, Toyota Motor Corp., and North American Manufacturing Plants. The Department's objective is to achieve actual vs forecast and other KPI’s.
What You’ll Be Doing- Provide cost leadership for Battery Manufacturing management, including budget coordination, cost reporting and analysis, and ad-hoc support related to cost inquiries.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial closing, accruals and completing monthly journal entries. Perform shop cost actual versus budget and forecast variance analysis.
- Support in Developing new standardized processes and reporting for new Battery Manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience with monthly close processes.
- Intermediate budgeting and forecasting operating expenses experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Previous project management experience.
- Systems knowledge in SAP Financials.
- BPC Planning for SAP.
- Manufacturing Experience preferred.
- Exposure to Microsoft Power BI, Tablo, Power Apps, etc.
- Strong Power Point & Presentation Skills.
