Location: Parktown

To provide administrative, analytical, and operational support to the Group Finance team, assisting with the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial information to support sound business decision-making. The role offers practical exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, regulatory reporting, investment administration, and finance operations, while enabling the incumbent to develop professional skills and a strong understanding of financial management practices within a corporate environment.

Education:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Investment Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in any of the above disciplines (preferred)
Knowledge and skills:
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Education:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting activities.
  • Ensure the accurate capture, filing, and maintenance of financial records and documentation.
  • Perform basic financial analysis and data validation activities.
  • Support the review and verification of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
  • Support finance projects, automation initiatives, and data management activities.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Group Finance team.
