A Snapshot of Your DayAs the Head of Finance for our Winston-Salem Operations, you will serve as a key financial leader for the site, partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other business functions to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making. You will oversee financial planning, reporting, forecasting, controlling, and performance management while ensuring strong financial governance and compliance. In this role, you will provide insights that enable the business to improve profitability, optimize costs, and achieve its operational and strategic objectives.
You will also lead and develop the local Finance organization and serve as a trusted business partner to senior leadership.
- Lead all financial activities for the Winston-Salem Operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, cost controlling, and performance management.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functional leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Drive financial planning and analysis, including cost modeling, product costing, inventory management, transfer pricing, and analysis of business performance and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy financial policies, governance requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls, including IFRS and relevant company guidelines.
- Identify financial risks, opportunities, and improvement areas, and develop recommendations that support sustainable business performance and operational efficiency.
- Lead, develop, and motivate the Finance team while fostering strong collaboration across the organization and building effective relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or a related financial discipline, preferably within the power industry or a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, cost modeling, inventory management, product costing, transfer pricing, and financial governance, with an understanding of dependencies across Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations.
- Proven ability to lead financial planning and performance management, analyze complex business issues, and influence strategic decisions; previous experience managing direct reports is preferred.
- Advanced financial, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills, including strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel; experience with Alteryx or other digitalization tools is preferred. Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
- Willingness to relocate to Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
