Position: HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) (NGT59004P1) with Security Clearance

Duties
* Selected applicant(s) will be required to complete an online Onboarding process. Requirements Conditions of employment
* Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
* May be required to successfully complete a TWO (2) year trial period.
* Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
* Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate SECRET security clearance for the position within a ONE (1) year of the appointment.
* Continued employment in this position is contingent upon satisfactory completion of the mandatory training specifically identified for the position.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain the Government Travel Credit Card (GTC) as a condition of employment.
* Federal employees currently serving in the excepted service (Title 32) must acknowledge they will voluntarily leave the Title 32 excepted service by accepting an offer of employment for this NG Title 5 excepted service position.
* Position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration and will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.
* Irregular and overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies.
* Must possess a valid Puerto Rico State driver's license to operate government motor vehicle in accordance with Service specific Vehicle Operations Directives.
* This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Qualifications AREA OF CONSIDERATION: HRO MUST process and clear the Department of Defense (DoD), Priority Placement Program (PPP), prior to advertising all internal and external job vacancies and promotion announcements.

DUTIES:
As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) (NGT
59004P1), GS-0201-9, you will cover five programs/specialties within the Air National Guard Military Personnel Flight. The primary purpose is to administer and accomplish functions of one or more of the following human resources programs:
Career Enhancements, Customer Service, Employments, Relocations, and/or Readiness. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is primarily sedentary, although some physical effort or exertion may be required in the performance of duties. There may be some episodes of light lifting or prolonged periods of standing. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: N/A

EXPERIENCE:

Applicant must possess at least ONE (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower-level GS-07 position or the equivalent TWENTY-FOUR (24) months of specialized experience performing or supervising duties such asworking knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and federal civilian or military personnel programs performing or supervising duties such as understanding of the personnel and manpower core competencies:
Organization Structure;
Requirements Determination;
