Description
Participate in local emergency response planning efforts including Biological, Chemical, Radiological or Natural events. Coordinate with local entities (Emergency Management, Sheriff's Department, EMS, School System, LEPC, and others) on local preparedness activities. Coordinate surveillance and emergency response efforts at the regional and state level. Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans and exercises in coordination with local and regional partners.
Maximum 20 hours per week. All applicants must complete a State Application PD-107 found HERE
Requirements
Must have a four-year degree in public service administration, psychology, sociology, or social work or a human service programmatic field, preferably with coursework in human service planning; or graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of administrative or consultative experience in a human service program; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
