    Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
  • Primary Purpose of Position:
    The primary purpose of this position is to assist the department with obtaining accreditation through the NC Accreditation program. The Accreditation Manager must be able to work independently, review and improve existing programs and policies, and communicate and interact with all personnel in the department, the University community, the law enforcement community and the State of North Carolina. This position develops policies and procedures in accordance with NC recognized accreditation standards.

    This position is responsible for collecting reports, memos and other materials required for the accreditation program and ensures appropriateness to meet requirements, in addition to conducting accreditation training. This position may be expected to attend state and national accreditation training programs.
  • Job Description:

  • Management Preference:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience related to accreditation;
    Experience in accreditation through the NCLEA, CALEA or IACLEA
Background & Eligibility
